Kalmunity Vibe Collective
Thundering beats, earthy tones and fiery lyrics of inspirational revolution is what best describes Montreal’s’ most influential and accomplished artists known simply as the Kalmunity Vibe Collective. The collective’s performances are unique live experiences created through spontaneous composition, which they’ve officially dubbed “Live Organic Improv.” Blending flavors of rnb, hip-hop, spoken word, afrobeat, funk, reggae, soul, jazz, electronic and more, the lyrics reflect diverse individual and group perspectives and highlight stories of the voiceless. After 13 years on the scene, Kalmunity is highly regarded as an outspoken, musically innovative movement, bringing improvisation to the forefront of modern live music.
